Colon Derived SUSD2 Binding Factor (CSBF) enables chemokine activity. Involved in several processes, including defense response to other organism; mast cell degranulation; and negative regulation of cell cycle G1/S phase transition. Located in extracellular region.Highly cationic protein that has multiple functions. Acts as a chemotactic factor that mediates lymphocytes recruitment to epithelia through binding and activation of the G-protein coupled receptor GPR15.

The recovery of Human CSBF spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
